Epics DAO: Solana Alpha NFT Card Packs Now Out of Print After 10,643 Total Mints ― Snapshot Complete, Transitioning to Beta Platform
Epics DAO, operated by ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, Netherlands; CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki), has officially closed the Alpha Platform (https://app.epics.dev/) as of February 28, 2026, and completed the snapshot acquisition.
A total of 10,643 Buidlers Guild Alpha card packs were minted, and they are now permanently out of print. We sincerely thank everyone for your tremendous support. The Beta Platform is set to launch in March, and the highly anticipated "Pack Opening Ceremony" will begin in April.
Alpha Card Pack Mint Results
The mint counts for each Buidlers Guild Alpha card pack are as follows:
The First Dev (Magic Pack): 1,812 packs
The First Degen (Tool Pack): 3,965 packs
The First Investor (Monster Pack): 4,866 packs
Total: 10,643 packs
With the closure of the Alpha Platform on February 28, new minting of these Alpha card packs has ended, making them permanently out of print. They are now available only through secondary markets on Solana NFT marketplaces such as Magic Eden.

Snapshot Complete ― Your Contributions Have Been Recorded
As of February 28, 2026 (UTC 23:59), the snapshot of the Alpha Platform has been completed.
This snapshot captures the full record of activity history and contributions within Epics DAO, including transaction history for EPCT tokens, BDLC, and card pack NFTs. These records will be used for future platform events, limited pack mints, and the Validators DAO token airdrop (timing TBD).
Additional snapshots are planned on an irregular basis going forward, creating a system where continued participation and contributions lead to greater value. The activity you built up during the Alpha phase will serve as the foundation for various benefits and events from the Beta phase onward.
Transition to the Beta Platform ― The Pack Opening Ceremony Is Coming
Following the closure of the Alpha Platform, the Beta Platform is scheduled to launch in March 2026.
Then in April, the "Pack Opening Ceremony" will finally begin, where you can open the Alpha card packs you hold. With 312 different cards in the full set, what will your packs contain? Stay tuned.

Why Epics DAO Is Building an NFT Card Game
Epics DAO confronts the reality that while open-source software is indispensable as a foundation for society and technology, its maintenance and sustainability remain structurally unstable.
