ERPC Expands High-Performance Solana RPC Nodes in Tokyo to Enhance Performance and Stability Across Asia

ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, the Netherlands; CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki) and Validators DAO have announced the addition of new high-performance Solana RPC nodes in the Tokyo region.
This expansion further enhances the responsiveness and stability of Solana RPC, Geyser gRPC, and Shredstream services across the entire Asia region.
Tokyo serves as a critical geographical hub connecting Asia and North America, playing a central role in global network optimization.

Strategic Importance of the Tokyo Region

Tokyo is one of Asia’s largest internet hubs, where submarine cables, IX interconnections, and financial networks are densely concentrated.
Multiple high-capacity submarine cables connect Tokyo with North America, forming one of the world’s most reliable communication infrastructures.

Leveraging this geographical advantage, the DoubleZero network operates multiple dedicated private fiber routes connecting Tokyo with Seattle, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
These routes achieve broad low-latency communication with minimal round-trip delay.
In recent years, validator operations have also been increasing in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sydney, with Tokyo serving as a central communication hub linking them all.

Overview of the New High-Performance RPC Nodes
The newly introduced nodes utilize large high-clock CPU models optimized for throughput and stability, significantly improving request processing and concurrent performance.
All services—Solana RPC, Geyser gRPC, and Shredstream—are now fully available in the Tokyo region, providing response times designed to rival Europe’s core hubs even for Asia-based users.

In addition, Solana-optimized EPYC VPS instances are available within the same internal network, enabling zero-distance communication between RPC, gRPC, and Shredstream without traversing external routes.
Global Distribution Policy
ERPC follows a “uniform quality across all regions” policy, operating full RPC, gRPC, and Shredstream deployments across Tokyo, Singapore, Chicago, New York, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam.
Ping-based dynamic routing and nftables-based network protection automatically optimize routes, block abnormal traffic, and maintain exceptional stability.
This design minimizes geographical disparities, ensuring developers around the world experience the same consistent performance regardless of region.

Service Structure and Pricing

In the Tokyo region, all core Solana infrastructure services—RPC, Geyser gRPC, and Shredstream—are provided as an integrated bundle.
The Bundle Plan allows users to utilize HTTP, WebSocket, gRPC, and Shredstream under a single configuration.
This unified environment supports seamless transitions from development to production and enables multi-stream subscriptions that automatically select the fastest available route.

- Solana RPC (HTTP / WebSocket)
- Geyser gRPC (no filter restrictions, supports Devnet / Testnet)
- Shredstream (shared and dedicated options)

Additionally, Solana-optimized EPYC VPS instances are offered within the same internal network.
These VPS servers connect directly to the RPC, gRPC, and Shredstream layers without using external networks, allowing real-time applications and transaction processing to achieve minimal latency and consistent performance.

All servers in Tokyo are standardized on 10–25 Gbps bandwidth, ensuring stable operation under high-frequency access and multicasting workloads.
This unified configuration enables developers and trading-focused projects to operate within a “zero-distance environment” fully contained within the same network.

Future Expansion and Vision
ERPC will continue optimizing network paths between Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney while expanding dedicated DoubleZero routes to further improve trans-Pacific and intercontinental connectivity.
By ensuring developers and validators across regions can always connect through the shortest possible path, ERPC strengthens the foundation that supports the entire Solana ecosystem.

Going forward, ERPC remains committed to reinforcing Tokyo’s role as a key communication hub in Asia and to building a globally uniform, high-performance Solana infrastructure network.
Challenges Addressed by ERPC and Validators DAO
- Transaction failures and latency fluctuations common in general RPC environments
- Performance throttling by conventional infrastructure providers
- Significant impact of physical network distance on communication quality
- Limited access to high-quality infrastructure for small and mid-sized projects
During the development of the open-source Solana NFT card game project Epics DAO, we faced the challenge that a fast and stable Solana development environment was not easily accessible.
To solve this, we built our own infrastructure platform, which now forms the foundation of ERPC and SLV.

Financial applications are especially mission-critical—latency and errors directly affect user experience.
Because Solana development involves multiple distributed validators and the unique architecture of Web3, achieving a holistic understanding and consistent stability has long been a challenge for many teams.

As Solana introduces next-generation technologies such as Alpenglow, improving block finalization speed and modernizing its communication layer,
ERPC and Validators DAO will continue to adapt flexibly to these advancements—enhancing both developer and user experience across the ecosystem.
Both ERPC and SLV are positioned as integral components of that mission.
