Amsterdam is one of Europe’s largest data center hubs where major IXs and financial infrastructure are concentrated. Network distance always affects both latency and stability.

In Solana, the leader validator rotates every block, and public distributions show that roughly 20% of validators are located in Amsterdam and roughly 20% in Frankfurt.

Because about one in five validators are in each of these metros, the probability that the next block leader will be nearby is also about one in five. Staying physically close to these metros therefore lets applications capture low‑latency paths more consistently.

We place Dedicated ShredStream, Geyser gRPC, and app servers within the same network, pursuing zero‑distance configurations especially in the Premium lineup. This design is highly rated by users who require real‑time performance, and it directly contributed to the Amsterdam sell‑out.

For application servers, alongside the Premium bare‑metal with Ryzen 9950X (16 cores, up to 5.7 GHz, 128 GB DDR5, EUR 320/month), we also offer the more accessible “SLV Metal App+ Premium” with Ryzen 7950X, 128 GB ECC DDR5, 1.92 TB NVMe × 2, and 25 Gbps × 2 (EUR 240/month).
