Our globally distributed data centers for Solana's infrastructure focus on PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) metrics and renewable energy, and we are actively working to repurpose server heat for heating systems. Additionally, all applications deployed through our open-source tool 'Skeet' are powered by renewable energy and certified as environmentally friendly hosting by the Green Web Foundation.

Open source is already at the core of modern software innovation. By further developing this ecosystem, we can share knowledge, avoid redundant development, and deliver higher-quality software more efficiently. However, the reliance on volunteers has led to severe resource shortages, and the ecosystem faces potential collapse if not addressed. We are committed to improving the open-source environment, and we will continue to share our software research as open source, contributing to the ecosystem's vitality.
